New Vuitton Bags Are Better Than Ever / Nove Vuitton torbe bolje nego ikad


Shot by Peter Lindbergh and styled by the Carine Roitfeld herself? Louis Vuitton is definitely still far ahead of the bag game. The Lockit bag is a reinterpretation of a design made in 1958, only this time a famous actress Michelle Williams poses as a classic ‘Parisienne’, in a series of nonchalant looks. The ladylike Capucines gets a more serious treatment, while the Alma’s colorful mix of Epi leathers are showcased with the actress goofing around on a pile of Vuitton trunks. Each picture represents a “different facet of femininity”: Lockit is careless and stylish, Capucines a serious business and Alma is funny and childish. Vuitton stays the epitome of relaxed, understated luxury with the perfectly designed bags that mimic modern architecture. Price? Take a deep breath :)

Fotograf Peter Lindbergh i stilistica Carine Roitfeld? Louis Vuitton još uvijek je daleko ispred svih kad govorimo o dizajnu torbi. Lockit torbica reinterpretacija je dizajna iz 1958. godine, ovog puta  u reklamnoj kampanji s poznatom glumicom Michelle Williams koja pozira poput klasične Parižanke u seriji casual fotografija. Damska Capucines torbica ipak je ozbiljnijeg dizajna, dok je Alma u različitim bojama Epi kože predstavljena hrpom kovčega na kojima Michelle sjedi. Svaka je fotografija predstavlja drugo lice ženstvenosti: Lockit je casual i nestašan, Capucines poslovan i ozbiljan, te Alma zabavna i neozbiljna. Vuitton i dalje predstavlja vrh opuštenog i diskretnog luksuza uz savršeno dizajnirane torbe koje oponašaju modernu arhitekturu. Cijena prava sitnica :)
