Although I might have mentioned that autumn make-up collections are usually the most interesting creations of every year, the spring ones are definitely most expected and usually very wearable, full of spring enthusiasm and fresh glow. This spring is no exception, so take a look at some of the most beautiful make-up collections for Spring 2017.
Chanel Coco Codes
Global creative make-up designer Lucia Pica gives tribute to icons of Chanel design with the new spring-summer color collection: white, beige, coral and gold. Each woman is allowed to create their own Chanel code. With a touch of personalized fairytale, Chanel has also reformulated a lip gloss favorite under a new name - Rouge Coco Gloss and Subtil just called my name. :)
YSL Street Art
Inspired by street art, spring YSL make-up collection introduces beautiful, vivid colors and combines pink and orange in Keep An Eye on Me and I Have a Blush On You palettes. Oh and I can not even look at Kiss & Blush Duo sticks, they are adorable.
Dior Color Gradation
Peter Philips’ new makeup collection for Dior Beauty, “Colour Gradation,” is an inspired take on the perpetual movement of nature, fueled by the ephemeral colors that blossom in spring. Philips’ carefully selected color palette features many playful shade variations—from fresh blues to juicy pinks—which can be worn alone or layered to softly structure the face. The rich history of the House of Dior is apparent throughout the spring 2017 “Colour Gradation” collection. From the iconic plissé pattern featured in the new blush and eye palettes, to the avant-garde shades of crisp lemon, deep turquoise, and intense pink of the new nail shades, each product is decidedly Dior. Cheeks glow with a soft flush, while eyes build in shade and color. Intense hues mix with subtle highlights for a perfect balance. The shades and textures seem to move across the face with the grace of a couture gown.
Lancôme Absolutely Rose
Roses and more roses. Nothing evokes spring like soft, fresh spring roses. Lancôme rose packaged in a glittering petal is actually a highlighter, that is applied with a kabuki brush for a beautiful glow. Lisa Eldridge found inspiration in Korean innovations once again and packaged new blushes as cute cushions. I mean, just take a look at the palette. Nothing evokes spring like La Palette La Rose.
Guerlain Happy Glow / Petite Robe Noire
Happy Glow collection for spring 2017 is celebrating 30 years of the cult Meteorites collection and is based on shimmering pigments and diffusion of light, which give the face a perfect look, all in beautiful pastel shades.
Happy Glow is not alone this spring, as Guerlain presented an additional collection called La Petite Robe Noire and launched a new La Petite Robe Noire Super Lash Style Mascara. The real stars of the collection are definitely La Petite Robe Noire Lip & Cheek Tints, that combine the texture of liquid gel with a nutrient, yet oil-free formula and give our cheeks and lips a touch of youthful color.
Givenchy Point D'Encrage
The newest is based on ink and watercolor paint, hence the name Point D’Encrage, which translates to “Point of Ink”. The collection was inspired by what ink symbolizes, as well as the look and feel of watercolor and how it can be translated into a makeup look. Givenchy Point D-Encrage Prisme Libre Travel both mattifies and highlights, and I guess that it will be a collection's favorite, just look at the adorable packaging.
Bobbi Brown Havana Brights
Inspired by the vibrant color palette and energy of Havana, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics’ Havana Brights Collection features a range of coral shades for lips, eyes and cheeks in all-new and best-selling formulas: New Dual-Ended Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick, Illuminating Cheek Palettes and Art Stick Liquid Lip, plus Bobbi’s best selling original Art Stick. These long-wear essentials are perfect for both day and night – because in Havana, the days are hot, but the nights can get even hotter.
Tom Ford Spring 2017
This spring, always classic and sexy Tom Ford brings us lovely duo blush and lip palettes. Blush is paired with a highlighter and Shade and Illuminate lip duos combine two shades, to create your own combinations and effects on the cheeks and lips.
Although I already spent far too much on beauty products this month, I think I won't be able to resist at least one of those gradient Dior beauties. What are your favorites from spring collections?
